Provision for Offline/Online entries with dynamic hot synchronization which cut's down Internet usage to it's minimum as low as 10-15 minutes a day. E-Fleet is offered with 100% customization taking shape as per the workflow of the company.

E-Fleet is designed with a central server at the head office through which the whole synchronization process takes place as well as each branch is provided with it's own database, thereby eliminating any possibility of loss of data. Even if the central server or any other branch computer is down the workflow is not interrupted by any means.

E-Fleet has a real time distributed database system wherein ' data ' or LR at multiple branches are automatically routed and updated at various relevant nodes, instead of getting consolidated at head office and some manual intervention routing them. Thus eliminating any manual errors caused due to retyping of the documents. In E-Fleet all possible errors are tackled in the earlier phases of evolution itself. It also supports data transfer where All branches do not have computer, any branch can login as other Branch and make data entries provided the proper rights are given by the H.O.

In the new design we have included transshipment manager (based on OR report) which gives smarter logistics and routing. This addresses our advance issues in logistics & supply chain management. It also has XML interface which helps in Inter-Enterprise Comunication sharing data in real time with a clean Buffer to secure the boundaries.

Technology adaption for the E-Fleet has been done in consideration to durability of the code and easy maintenance. Modularity has been achieved between Unsynchronized data and Synchronized data in every module of the project. E-Fleet is developed in VB & JAVA environment & Linux operating System to ensure license free system Software & more secured with multi-platform operability. Large use of ".dll" files allows componentization of the application.

We have followed n-tier architecture in order to support component VIEW to the entire application which supports layers. Every module being independent is still integrated which allows changes in individual modules are automatically reflected in other modules without much changing the code.

XML LAYER:
We have used XML packets to transfer the data from the Branches to the WEBSERVER. This adds up to the security because the entire data stream is broken into small packets. Moreover we are using XML call routines to connect to the Server side API which can be made available to Extra-Network Companies to facilitate Inter-Enterprise Communication. Company has 10 dedicated server collocated in India with in-house administration of database servers like oracle 8i, MS SQL thereby ensuring better data communication & security which is prime consideration of any Intranet solution.Use of Back ends has been done on the basis of data at each branches and considering licensing issues. The database on the server can be MS SQL or ORACLE 8i. Layered architecture allows this application to be Database independent thereby allowing upgrading of database as per the increasing DATA.

Security Manager:
There is a separate security manager for each individual record which keeps track of synchronization process. In situations when the internet gets disconnected or the computer faces some problems, while the synchronization process is under way , the security manager keeps track of how much data has been uploaded / downloaded and restarts itself from the point of failure.Following ISO guidelines has enabled a well to do Documentation for the entire process of the application Development
