 KEY AREAS
Network Optimization
Whether to have your own Branches or run a Booking Franchisee
will be a important assessment of your network to strengthen your
focus
Manageability are the bottlenecks in todays transport industry.
We have large data mining and warehousing to determine which
branches
are profitable and their sustenance and removal cost how much
to the organization
This will also take into consideration schedule load traffic
flow where we are inknow about about traffic being flowing on
regular basis so there comes to no reason to not have a booking
point either a franchisee or own Branch
Major Transporter in India are facing this problem. Having sophisticated
systems , any franchisee /agents can be associated to the organization
by our socialized Plug-in modules for them ..
Yield Management
Yield management, as this mixture of art and science is known,
saved $1.4 billion in the period from 1989 to 1992 in One of the
American Transport Industry . Modeling and optimization made the
difference between profit and loss. -Yield Management or Revenue
Management is an economic discipline appropriate to many industry
sectors in which overbooking, duration/itinerary control, product
inventory control and market segment pricing is combined with
statistical analysis to expand the market for the service and
increase the revenue 'yield' per unit of available capacity. It
is the set of demand forecasting techniques, optimization models,
and implementation procedures, which collectively determine which
reservation requests to accept and which to reject in order to
maximize revenue (minimize opportunity cost).
Inbound and Outbound Logistics
Various transporters are now tying up for end to end solutions
to the industries. Ther they need to plan their pickups, vendor
associations, Hub transits and deliveries in time. Given a pick
up schedule, This system will pick the required data of optimized
route, network, schedule traffic flow and prepare the most effective
schedules for the inbound logistics

Complaint Management System( TroubleShoot Management)
This is divided into two areas.
Internal Customers
External Customers
External
All the complains coming from the customers are directly entered
by the customer from the website w\for which they get he trouble
ticket no. This TT no becomes the primary key to track any further
communication in his regard. Team at various branches in support
reply to this TT which also sends a mail to client . Management
overview is to get how many trouble ticker are unsolved, partly solved, solved but not confirmed from the client and confirmed
solved. This gives a very define approach to coordinate every
Customer Complaints, for any department, any Branch. This is
far superior to today's email system where half the time the communication
I slots because there is no tracking system. There are various
Complain heads which facilitates auto routing of complain to the
concerned person.
Internal
This is similar module to above but its ideology is to create
an integrated Intranet pattern for the departments. Each department
can assign priorities, objectives, daily task here with the worksheet
no. to which they get the feedback which is 100% traceable with
timestamps. This can be viewed and updates remotely through browsers.
An easiest system to coordinate inter departments, Inter Branches
Operation Research
Operations management
Planning, scheduling, dispatch, control center, logistics, networks,
performance tracking
Effective transportation and logistics systems form the backbone
of ensuring timely delivery at minimal cost, a critical success
factor for organizations today.
Adoption of concepts like Collaborative Transport Management (CTM)
would extend Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment
(CPFR) to include shipment, delivery and payment to the carrier.
A successful implementation of the same would require enterprise-wide
real-time integration coupled with the adoption of new technologies
facilitating efficient, cost effective decision-making.
The introduction of wireless technology and the adoption of web-based
collaborative systems have resulted in a trend of manufacturers
outsourcing the entire logistics function to derive cost and efficiency
benefits to Third party Logistics (3PL) providers. In addition
to managing the transportation requirements, the 3PLs also manage
the documentation and regulatory requirements involved in delivery.
IBN brings its technology and domain expertise across the
area of transportation and logistics, in enabling organizations
ensure customer value delivery.

CASE STUDIES
SER is an 100 crore companies with over 500 branches and has
tie up with IBN to implement TMS over all its branches. IBN has
reinvented the delivery Model by Choosing Prototypes screens and
basic Models to be used in all the branches and bring about the
Data Flow. The software Life cycle would take more than a year
but this practice leaves no change of untrained professionals
in the branches which remains the root cause of Major ERPs.
We are building add on modules to support the
Bar coding, GPS system to enable real time Data Entry into the
system. Our OR Consultants are working closely with the SER management
to identify the Backhauling , Frauds , Improper Yield Planning
at the transshipment centers
