Business Need:
Small scale Textile Industries having more than 10 production
departments with all in house processes needed a low cost solution
which could be used by all the Factories and Mills.
The major thrust was on the costing which takes into consideration
the color mix because there was no manual way to get the cost
for the same . Also the inventory level for colored yarn, weaved
towels, finished towels, unbleached yarn, unprocessed yarn remained
unpredictive which could eat their entire working capital. They
wished to have a smarter Inventory Management Program which increased
the yield of the workers and machine by choosing the right mix
of the yarn and size . This project took 20 Man years of development
and has tackled almost all the departments of any manufacturing
firm with integrated module for Procurement, Inventory, Goods
Movement report (inward/outward), Sales, Financial Accounting,
Agent Commission, Production Level, Performance Management System
for the machines, quality and Workers…etc
Various Departments of Textile Industry were integrated Viz. Purchase,
Dyeing, Warping, Winding, Weaving, Cleaning, Stitching, Packaging,
Dispatch, Costing, MIS, Sales, Financial Accounting, Wages &
HR, Inventory, etc
