IBN infosys
engineered the Call Center in a manner that reduces exposure
to accident or natural disaster. Each position and all
telephony equipment is first protected by UPS (battery
back-up). To further strengthen resiliency, IBN installed a
250 kW Detroit Diesel generator that has the capability to
support all of the power requirements of the IBN Call Center
and network infrastructure for an extended period of time. The
corporate office is also supported by independent generating
facilities.
All computer hardware and network
infrastructures are replicated across two sites on independent
telephone and power grids to ensure "non-stop"
support.
