Competitive Intelligence:
Project objective:
To provide the global competitive intelligence for express companies along with the impact analysis. The developments were largely classified as Competitive developments and market developments. Further the competitive developments were classified as operational (air, ground and logistics network expansion) and marketing (services, products, marketing campaigns, IT, contracts, etc). The focus of the report was on eastern Europe and Asian developments.
Issues:
The report was to be delivered every Tuesday 11 p.m. IST. There were cases initially the analyst working on the project had take leaves all of sudden due to uncontrolleable reasons. However, with enough back up plan and having understood the gravity of the weekly delivery, we had kept ourself prepared for the necessary back up plan and the report was delivered at the same time.
Domain expertise requirement:
The project demanded extensive updates on the express market, following core strategies of the top integrators including short term and long term impact on the client. Geographically, RA’s were subjected to keep themselves abreast with the top developments in APAC, eastern Europe, Americas and EMEA.
Success Factor:
We successfully delivered 50 weekly reports as contracted. The report was read by more than 400 managers in the company.
